(Club)House Rules

Last weekend the boys were bored so I gave them a handful of Sharpies, a stack of LegoClub magazines and a box of thumbtacks and told them to go re-decorate their clubhouse...

They were a bit shocked by my suggestion at first, "Really Mama, we can write on the walls?!" Of course, it didn't take long before they were totally into the idea and the creativity started flowing. Somewhere along the line, they came up with the idea of writing their own list of House Rules and tons of giggles and laughter followed...I think #3 is my favorite, maybe because he remembered to say Please?

This is where you can find my boys most afternoons, quietly and methodically shoveling and moving the earth.
