On the very rare occasion that we're caught up on laundry and it's not yet time to make dinner, we've been spending as much time outside as possible because this is the most beautiful time of year in Tucson. And the real summer heat is coming so we've got to enjoy this while it lasts...
It's amazing, friends. Clear blue skies, warm sunny days and cool crisp evenings for days on end...And now that our yard has had a year to mature, it's even more beautiful than I hoped it could become. If you weren't with me before, here's a good spot to check out our starting point. It was ugly. To say the least. By early last summer we were "done" but now that the plants have had a few seasons to mature, the transformation is far more dramatic.
I'm gonna keep trying to balance kissing babies with making snacks, hanging laundry, and aiming to take a shower everyday. As the baby gets older and the weather starts heating up, I'll probably have more time for blogging. I'm looking forward to it already.
