Parenthood is full of so many bittersweet moments...
A few weeks ago we said goodbye (for a few years, anyway!) to our beloved preschool,
Sunshine School. We celebrated by having a "graduation" party at our house. Picture 10 rambunctious boys and one (lonely?) gal running through the house shooting Nerf guns, jumping on the beds, swimming, eating, and playing in the clubhouse while the Mamas chatted and tried to keep our tears at bay.
Because it was clearly more important to us than to them, we lined them up outside and donned their caps, and made them each "graduate", which essentially meant standing still long enough so that we could capture each of them on film. They
will appreciate the photos in the scrapbook someday, right?
I can't believe I have 2 kids in Elementary School now. Sigh.
